Getting started
How do I start a project with Initedge?
Send a message through the contact page or request a free concept. We reply within one working day, ask a few questions about your goals, and then send a written proposal with scope, schedule and price.
What is a free concept?
A free concept is a short design and strategy preview for your business: a suggested structure, a visual direction and a list of improvements. It carries no obligation, and you keep the ideas either way.
What information do you need from me?
Your business name, website if you have one, what you want to achieve, any examples you like, a rough timeline and budget range. Rough answers are fine; we refine them together.
Do you work with businesses outside my country?
Yes. We work remotely with clients in several countries and agree meeting times that suit both sides. Contracts, invoices and communication are in English unless we agree otherwise.
Pricing & payments
How much does a project cost?
Every project is quoted individually because scope varies widely. After a short discovery conversation you receive a written fixed quote or a clearly estimated range, with what is included and what is not.
How does payment work?
Projects are normally split into milestones, for example a deposit to start, a payment when the design is approved and a final payment before launch. Exact amounts and dates are written in your proposal and invoices.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Payment methods are confirmed in your proposal and on each invoice. We will never ask you to pay into an account that does not match your signed proposal or official invoice. If in doubt, contact us first.
Are there extra charges after launch?
Third-party costs such as domains, hosting, licences and payment-provider fees are billed by those providers to you directly, or listed clearly if we pay them on your behalf. Ongoing support is optional.
What if I want to change the scope?
Small adjustments are usually absorbed. Larger changes are described in a written change request with its effect on price and schedule, and work begins only after you approve it.
Working together
How long does a typical project take?
A focused business website often takes a few weeks; apps and SaaS products take longer. The proposal sets out a schedule, and timelines depend on how quickly feedback and content reach us.
How do we communicate during the project?
By email and scheduled calls, with regular progress updates and demos. You always know what is done and what comes next.
Who owns the work?
On full payment you own the deliverables created for you. Your accounts for domain, hosting and app stores stay in your name. Third-party components keep their own licences.
Can you take over a project another developer started?
Often yes. We begin with a review of the existing code and setup, then tell you honestly what we found and what it would take.
After launch
What happens after my site or app goes live?
We hand over documentation and access, monitor the first days closely and fix launch issues. A defined warranty period for defects is set out in your proposal.
Do you offer ongoing support?
Yes. Maintenance plans cover updates, security patches, backups, monitoring and small changes. See Maintenance & Support.
How do I report a problem?
Email the support address with a clear description and screenshots. We acknowledge requests within the response time stated in your plan or our Support policy.
Security & privacy
How do you protect my data?
We use least-privilege access, strong authentication, encrypted connections and password managers, and we share files through controlled channels. See our Security page for details.
Do you sign an NDA?
Yes, on request. Send us your NDA or ask for ours before you share sensitive information.
How is my personal information used?
Only to respond to your enquiry and deliver the services you request. See our Privacy Policy for what we collect, why, and your rights.
